Our work on a racking system does not end at handover. Warehouses grow, product ranges change, a forklift hits an upright, and years later the same racking needs an extra level. The services below cover everything from the first site survey to component replacement.
Our services
Site survey
We visit the warehouse and record the column grid, clear height, door and dock positions, sprinkler lines and floor condition. Sending the architectural drawing as DWG or PDF speeds up the survey.
Layout design and load calculation
Based on pallet size, unit load weight and handling equipment, we prepare the layout and capacity calculation. Aisle width, number of levels and bay size follow from that calculation, and so does the quotation.
Installation
Our own crew installs the system. Upright plumb, beam locks, floor anchors and base plates are checked during installation, and the permissible load for each bay is handed over in writing.
Rack inspection
For racking in use, we check uprights and beams for damage, look for missing safety pins, loose anchors and bays without load signs, and share the findings in a photo report.
Damage repair and replacement
Damaged uprights, bent beams and broken base plates are replaced on site. Damaged components are never straightened and reused; they are replaced with new parts of the same specification.
Relocation and reconfiguration
Dismantling, re-planning and re-installing the system when you move to a new building; adding levels or changing beam heights on existing racking. If beam heights change, the capacity calculation is redone.
Spare parts and accessories
Uprights, beams, safety pins, base plates, anchors, wire mesh decks, pallet support bars, column and corner guards. Because we manufacture the components ourselves, compatible parts come from stock or from a short production run.
Public sector projects

If you see any of these signs, it is time for an inspection
- Visible bending, crushing or impact marks with missing paint on an upright
- Beams that have moved, bent or opened at the ends
- Missing or broken safety pins at beam connections
- Loose, removed or missing floor anchors
- Deformed base plates or cracks in the floor slab
- Bays without a load sign, or signs that can no longer be read
- Pallets not seated fully on the beams or overhanging the front beam
EN 15635, the European standard for the use and maintenance of steel storage systems, classifies damage in three levels: minor damage that only needs to be monitored, damage that must be repaired as soon as possible, and serious damage that requires the affected area to be unloaded and taken out of use immediately. The standard also recommends regular visual checks by the operator’s own staff and an inspection by a technically competent person at least once a year.
Do not keep loading racking that shows serious damage. Unload and cordon off that section, then report it to us using the form below, together with photos.
