Karsan has been manufacturing storage and archive systems in Konya, Türkiye, since 1974. This page is not a slogan; it sets out what we check before we quote a project and where we want the company to be in the years ahead.
Our mission
We do not propose racking for a warehouse we have not measured. On every project we survey the column grid, clear height, floor slab and handling equipment on site, and we design the system around those dimensions and the actual weight of the unit loads.
Everything from sheet cutting to powder coating is done in our own plant in Konya. Our own crew installs the system, and the permissible load for every bay and level is handed over to the customer in writing.
In short: a warehouse that is safe for the people working in it and efficient for the goods stored in it.
Our vision
To be one of the first names a company in Türkiye calls when it invests in a warehouse, archive or production area: one partner for the design calculation, the manufacturing quality and the after-sales support.
We want to grow on evidence rather than claims: measurable quality control, documented production and published references. Our long-term goal is to make AYC a Turkish racking brand that is known in warehouse projects abroad as well.
How we work
Survey first, quote second
We do not price racking from a catalogue. A quote issued before the site survey, layout drawing and capacity calculation means either missing or surplus material on site.
Load capacities in writing
When installation is complete, the permissible load for each bay and each level is given to the customer in writing. The warehouse manager never has to guess what a beam level can carry.
One plant, one process
Cutting, roll forming, welding and powder coating take place under one roof. Values that decide capacity, such as steel thickness, bend angle and coating thickness, are never left to a subcontractor.
Documented quality
Our heavy-duty racking, light-duty shelving and steel archive cabinets have been certified under TSE’s TSEK scheme since 2006; the TSE Service Competence certificate followed in 2008 and ISO 9001 in 2009. Details are on our quality policy page.
Built to specification
We have supplied racking and archive systems to more than 200 public institutions, including state hospitals, universities, military units and municipalities. Working to a technical specification is routine for us. See the full list on our references page.
Support after installation
Forklift impacts, layout changes or an extra level can come up years after installation. For component replacement, relocation and inspection requests, see our service and support page.
Our approach to quality
The quality of a racking system does not show under the heaviest load it was designed for; it shows under the worst conditions of use: a missing safety pin, a pallet placed off the beam, an upright hit by a forklift. That is why we inspect not only at the end of production but at goods-in, during installation and at handover. Our quality policy lists what we measure at each stage.
